I made this skirt last fall when I was living in Zambia.
The fabric is from Africa, in Zambia they call it Chitengue so it’s 100% cotton but it HAS to be washed before use because colors are not completely fixed… When I did that skirt I had not located a source for interfacing yet but if I did it again I would totally interface the yoke part…
I used some synthetic fabric for the lining, but light cotton would probably have been better (considering that the weather is hooooot).
The lines of Greek architecture inspire this neutral and pastel collection.
