Description

A plus A line skirt from the Twinkle Sews book. I used size 4 but I should probably have gone for 0…

I made this skirt last fall when I was living in Zambia.

Material Notes

The fabric is from Africa, in Zambia they call it Chitengue so it’s 100% cotton but it HAS to be washed before use because colors are not completely fixed… When I did that skirt I had not located a source for interfacing yet but if I did it again I would totally interface the yoke part…

I used some synthetic fabric for the lining, but light cotton would probably have been better (considering that the weather is hooooot).
