the african dress pattern, but with a little variation. that’s the actual length of the pattern. I lined the top, and added ribbon on the neckline (although i wish i’d used bias tape). I plan to wear this to my rehearsal dinner.

Hey, tell us what was the party like. The dress is really cute, and the fit is excellent. It is so interesting seeing other people’s variations – I cropped the pattern pieces to save the paper and to reduce the number of pages I would have to scan. But I really like it as a knee length dress.
