I went to Ghana a couple years ago and bought this awesome wax print cotton—yards and yards of it. I finally got around to making something with it, and the result is this strapless dress. It’s my first project since I decided to start sewing again. The top part is from Miasu’s Contour Bust Dress [http://www.burdastyle.com/patterns/contour-bust-dress-and-tute]. I had to do some modifications, but I would definitely use that pattern again for future projects. The bottom I just pleated as I saw fit to make the pattern line up appropriately.
