My boyfriend brought this fabric back for me from his trip to Africa two years ago. I was afraid to use it because I didn’t want to waste it, but after it sat in my closet for over a year, I decided that I had to do something with it. This is the first time that I didn’t use a pattern. I just made my boyfriend draw chalk lines down the fabric as I held it up to me. I am actually surprised it fits this well! This light dress is unlined, but features a slit on the left leg.
cotton fabric, invisible zipper, eyelet

Gorgeous fabric – its funny but I have dragged my poor husband into helping me sew far more than he would probably like to admit, mind you then I have to put up with comments like “it cant be that hard to just whack in a zip”!! (Great job by the way)
