Description

I started of with the masty’s shorts pattern (again !) but altered it quite a bit, dividing it into panels, adding front pockets and changing the back ones. The print is a little unusual for shorts, but I just felt like it :D
I’ve worn them once and I got a couple of funny looks !! Not really sure what to pair them with.
They’re a little tight round the wast but really comfy on the legs.

Also the fabric was a bargain : 1€ a meter; I’m thinking of making a bag as well.

    I’ve figured it out ! People gave funny looks because they were mesmerized and was wondering where they can get a pair but were afraid to ask !!!! GREAT JOB ! I’d pair it with a solid colored top matching the same shade of yellow or the same shade as one of the blues. (OOPS! Sorry I posted the same message 6 times by mistake.)

    These are awesome shorts. I am really keen to make some now with a cool floral fabric. Maybe those funny looks are looks of jealously… :D

      Thank you! I am having issues with the original pattern— when i print it, i only get the pattern pieces to do the legs XD . And I am having issues re-sizing it. I hope to see a pattern up from you soon! Your shorts are amazing!! I really want to make a pair with flowers too!

      Its normal that you only get the leg pattern pieces, the other bits are all just rectangles; look in the instructions, it tells you what you need ! :)%2Pr

    Il est vraiment super celui-là! J’adore le tissu. Je n’aurais jamais pensé à utiliser ce style pour faire un short mais ça rend trop bien. Bravo aussi pour le top.

    These are amazing! I am loving flower print shorts – they are such a nice break from plain old jean shorts. Plus, yours look really well made :)
