My friend Adele had a lovely wedding and I had the honor of making the dress. The dress is made of vintage lace from my great aunt’s fabric stash underlined in silk satin. All lace seams and darts and hand sewn with applique seams. The belt is hand made and hand beaded. Buttons and accents are rough freshwater pearls and aurora borealis Swarovski crystals along the hem. Handmade tulle petticoat give it shape. Adele looked beautiful and elegant and I think it was the perfect dress for her. Photos by Nick BibeaultI have chronicled a bit of the process in my blog:
