Pattern is the ‘Insa’ skirt from ‘Sewing Clothes Kids Love’ by Nancy Langdon and Sabine Pollehn. Despite all the gores and layers this was really fun and easy to sew. The examples in the book have many more combinations of fabric but I decided to play it fairly safe and just used the one patterned fabric for the top (except for one gore which is stripey) and a solid for the underskirt. I will definitely make more of these, they are so twirly and I loved playing around with combining fabrics.
