This is a dress I made a year ago (!) for a wedding. It was the first dress I had made from scratch, except for a school project many years ago. I thought yellow was quite a cheerful wedding colour. The final design was a mix of the Marie skirt and a modified version of the Coffee Date dress bodice. I must say, I was pretty pleased with how it came out, even if it took me a year to say it!

I think you have created a really gorgeous dress in such a happy colour…love it and you should be proud of it! It certainly has inspired me now to use those two patterns to make my off the shoulder dress.
