I’ve been working on this coat, intermittently, since spring. Finaly, it’s ready! Hopefully it will get me through the Canadian winter in high style.
The pattern is Butterick 5425, although I swapped in a different sleeve.
The whole long, grueling affair is recorded in detail on my blog
Coating labeled “100% Fibre”, with a neat diagonal diamond pattern. Interlining: something felt-like with a foil side to reflect heat (see photo). Lining: Kasha flannel-backed lining.
Take a trip down the aisle in these gorgeous gowns, or change the fabrics for a spring party dress.
