This dress is made using Butterick Pattern 5457 (picture attached). I used a crepe backed satin for both the main dress and contrast. There’s boning in the breast and side seams which I did for the first time, so I’m very proud of it even though it’s not perfect. I had a little difficulty with the zipper in the contrast section of the dress as it is ruched and therefore thicker.
Hope you like it.
