I have been playing with the “fitted jacket pattern” from the book “Built by Wendy Coats & Jackets”, and while I haven’t made any of the actual projects from the book yet, I’ve been having loads of fun going off on my own. I’ve also been wanting a really cropped jean jacket for a long time.

Also some scraps of red cotton gauze and some pre-made red bias tape I had lying around to do hong-kong bindings on the seams. I used the triple-straight-stitch on my machine with regular red thread for the topstitching.
