Simplicity 2215, a classic shirtdress pattern, made up in vintage Liberty Tana Lawn with round wooden buttons. This is my second time making 2215 and it really is becoming one of my favorite patterns. Not only is the design super flattering, thanks to the fit & flare silhouette, but the asymmetrically pleated skirt adds a bit of design interest. All done up in buttery soft Liberty? It’s a perfect layering dress. Now, if only all my stash were Liberty…

I love this look so much: the colors, the photos, the styling = amazing. There’s something to be said for finding a go-to pattern and making new looks from it over and over again, I do it all the time.

Thank you so much! Not going to lie, I much prefer it with the belt, as well. The waist is just a bit big on me, so it really helps cinch it in nicely.

Thanks, Mandi! I’m just glad it turned out well – it would have been horrible wasting Liberty on something I didn’t end up liking. ;)
