Burda Style For people who sew
Description
Simplicity 2550, bodice C. My first try at muslin-fitting prior to sewing the dress. Best fit I’ve had in a long time with my own sewing. Also the first time I have tried layering two fabrics and sewing it like one. I actually started this last autumn, but just never got around to doing the finishing touches until the past month or so. Already wore it to church once.
Material Notes
Brown mesh with a sewn leaf-applique over a mustard yellow cotton. Don’t remember exactly what kind of cotton, but it’s probably some kind of spandex blend because it is fairly thick with a tiny bit of stretch.
