Simplicity 4139 blouse – I chose view 1 for its sexy deep V neckline; the long, floaty sleeves; and, more importantly, it has only one button. My god I hate buttonholes! The fabric is something I’ve had in my stash for years so I’ve no idea what it is but it falls beautifully.

Sorry guys, this blouse is from a vintage pattern, circa 1941.
Nickiejc – The one button was the deciding factor! It may have been a bound button hole but it was much neater than I could do with my machine.

Wow! I really love your blouse! In fact, I loved it so much, I immediately went to the Simplicity website to buy the pattern. Sadly, I was unable to find it. Do you know if this is an out-of-print pattern? Thank you! -Katie

You had me at “only one button”! That is a very crisp yet floaty top. Seeing it (almost) makes me want to attempt a blouse. I grew up near Biggin Hill so have a fondness for all things Spitfire too!
