With a narrow rib cage and ample bust I’ve never found a tank top that doesn’t gape horribly at the armhole so I drafted my own pattern.
The fabric is super flow-ey rayon — looks batik with a cool feather motif. I got it at the awesome store here in Austin called The Common Thread.

It does fit nicely! I love basic templates like this…and especially the feeling that you can make a perfect garment every time you need (want) one!

Isn’t it great when you finally get the fit right on a garment that is never out of fashion and one that you will use over and over again, which I am sure you will with this tank top. It looks perfect on you.
