I made this one shoulder asymmetric hem dress [BurdaStyle 12/2009 IT-GIRL Dress 103 B] for my sister when she was visiting over the holidays. She wanted one and we couldn’t find anything that fit her nicely, so I decided to surprise her. I bought some crepe-back satin at Joann fabrics & used a pattern from BurdaStyle 12/2009. She loved it :) I like how it turned out, but I think it would have been better if I used silk instead of polyester. Also, the instruction calls for 16" (40 cm) invisible zipper, but that did not exist in the store I went to, they come in 2" ranges like 12-14" or 19-21" etc. So I bought the longer one and made it work.
Crepe-back satin 100% polyester – next time I will use better quality such as silk; Invisible zipper
