This is an upcycled wool Sportscraft skirt that my Mother gave me, (originally from the 1980’s in a gathered dirndl style). I think making it from scratch would have been a lot easier, the troubles I went through! As you can see, I need to wash out the chalk marks and give the pleats a good pressing, but I am very happy with it and it fits well, another skirt loosely based on the A Plus A line.
(Australian merino) wool 80%, 20% Polyester, lined in polyester chiffon with a contrast wool bias binding at the lower end of the skirt.
