A simple pencil skirt

I made this with left over denim from another skirt project. That makes me happy! I used Newlook pattern 6130. So easy to make as there’s no waistband.

Material Notes

Denim. Invisible zipper. Wide bias tape for waist facing.

Thank you Mary. I’m still adjusting to my new body shape and I’ve been finding clothes don’t fit well, especially jeans. This skirt is so comfortable and modern that I can wear it when I might previously worn jeans, so I’m much happier x

I love denim pencil skirts! They are so sexy!! I love that this one doesn’t have topstiching or if it has it is not very visible! I like the contrast between the classic line with the calssic finishing and zipper, without the bold stiches, and the sporty denim! Both today projects are lovely my friend and I am sure you will wear them a lot this winter and you will be a very well dressed lady:)

Thank you for your kind words. I find this skirt very flattering and I do look slimmer in it. I wanted it to be quite plain so I could wear it with anything. :)
