Description

I decided to take my foray into men’s wear a bit further after tackling the Andrew Cardigan. This is a McCalls 6044 pattern with a yarn dyed cotton (and I think lycra) blend. I used black color snaps for the closures and altered the pockets and flaps to be on the bias (stabilized with interfacing). Deuce likes it as far as I can tell, and I’m pretty pleased with it myself. Took about 10 hours total I’m guessing.

Wow, it looks great! I’m just starting on my second shirt with this pattern but I think it will be a while until I work up the courage to try lining up stripes or plaid – yours turned out nicely :)
