The pattern I used comes from The Knitter’s Bible by Claire Crompton. If you have any interest in knitting, it really is the only book you need, going from beginner stuff right through to a large library of different stitches, knit and purl, gansey, textured, rib, cable and lace, and a couple of patterns to try.
