So I know this isn’t a sewn project, but hey! I made it.
As my 2nd knitted project ever, this is a greenish brown woolen scarf I made for my husband. I was having a hard time choosing a masculine stitch (who would think!) I love how wide it is, I am going to have to make one for myself in a prettier color!
This is my first step in a campaign to get my husband to wear a scarf before the temps go below zero, once I get him to wear it I’ll post another pic. wish me luck!!
I cast on 32 stitches with 8mm needles.
row 1: K1 P1 repeat to end
row 2: K
repeat rows 1 and 2 to desired length and voila!
(I still need to block it, eek!)

is that ‘seed stitch’? looks great! does it curl up on the edges or lay flat? gracias!

It actually lies flat after blocking… I think this stitch is the seed k1 p1 k1…
