I made this coat specifically for autumn. I made it lightly lined, I gave it a high baby doll cut, and I found the brightest red duck cloth to really make it perfect for the season. It has been perfect so far, but I do foresee myself making a couple winterized versions before it gets too chilly out.
1 1/2 yard 60" duck cloth, 1 1/2 yard 45" cotton lining, vintage buttons
