I love everything handmade and I find sewing and knitting a perfect therapeutic past-time, that not only makes you feel better, but its gives you blankets, rugs and socks! Before we start making the rag rug from scrap paper, please note, this ain’t an easy project. Furthermore, it is one that will take weeks if not months to complete. If you want to give it as a gift, I will warn you that you will get so attached to it, you wouldn’t want to give it, or you do, it is a real labour of love!
A piece of coarse hessian about 15 cm larger than the desired size of your rug.
Permanent marker pens
