I made this fabric book for my friend Hayley’s baby. Some of the things are memories of things Hayley and I did, others are just random ideas. It took me forever to finish cos I couldn’t figure out a nice way to join all the pages together. Finally thought of blanket stitching them.
I made a little bag thingy too to match.
More info here on my blog.
Cotton, felt, satin, corduroy, denim (I used lots of scrap fabric so it's a big mix), embroidery thread, some kind of batting for between the pages

Really sweet- have a look at ‘Fabric art Journals’ by Pam Sussman. It might help you with future projects on fabric books…

P.s – do you iron iterfacing or anything onto the cut out fabric to stop it fraying??

No, I didn’t put interfacing or anything on it. It shouldn’t really fray – I zig-zagged right over the edge of it. Except on Hayley’s skirt but I like frayed denim
