I wanted to make something pretty and useful as a gift for my friend’s birthday so I have whipped up a small purse for her jewellery as she travels.
She wears a lot of slim rings and lots of small earrings so this little purse will be ideal for when she travels. And when she’s not travelling it can double nicely as a card or money purse.
Plus I love the (true vintage) fabric.
I placed two buttonholes on the top flap and attached the ribbon on the bottom flap so you can fasten the purse closed by threading the ribbon through the buttonholes.
I acquired the floral fabric from my Nan.
Ribbed ribbon from the haberdashers.
