A fur velour blocked cloche in a bright red. Made at my Part Time Cert II Millinery class. Took about 3 weeks to complete because I was doing it on the side of my assignment, mainly when I had to wait for sizing to dry or when I was getting bored of it.
Shaped it on the cutest little block, however I did use a tent pole to significantly accentuate the point from the small one that the block shaped. I love the gumnut/drop shaping. I have a thing for pointing hats like this.
Bow hand sewn on and trimmed with leather. Also used leather to bind the inside, where you would usually use petersham/grosgrain ribbon.
