Description

My first skirt!
Funny thing that dabura made almost the same one, just much better. I guess smart people think alike ;)

Anyway I use A line a plus pattern but moved pleats to the side like crazydavises.
It was hard, first of all the pattern printed on 50 pages, denim is not easy for pleats and it doesn’t iron well, also the color is not right on camera.
I like it.

      Thanks, it took me a while to get it fit right but denim has some stretch and that helped ;)

    Hi mili222 :) You just made a very good one first skirt project. It looks great on you. I agree with you that the denim fabric isn’t easy for pleats and it doesn’t iron well. But is so comfortable to wear – you could look sporty/casual or more classic with this kind of fabrics. In mine project I put an additional joint on the top of the layers so they stay right and fix.

      Thanks! I also chose denim because it is versatile and I can wear it on sneakers if I want.

      I agree totally with you. Most of the time I’m wearing my denim skirts with sneakers :).
