I bought the fabric for £1 a meter. I was going to make a dress but realised that I would not be able to carry-off a dress in that material. So I decided to make this skirt. I don’t like it. It should be shorter and slightly smaller around the waist, which is my fault because I enlarged the waist slightly; because this is what I usually have to do on all my clothes.
The fabric I used is wool (and purple cotton to line the skirt). I could not decide when I was at the market if I liked the material or not. I bought it anyway at £1/m it was a bargain, but I am still undecided.

I think it looks nice on you! I am making this skirt and have had problems with the sizing, hopefully on the homeward run now :)

Yep the sizing was strange, in the end i just cut in a way i hoped it would fit. i also have problems with the US-UK conversions as they are not quite the same chart or no chart.
