I’ve recently finished that jacket. The first time, I did one for myself. So, the pattern is not the best yet, I have to change a lot. Also because of having changed the pattern a lot by working on, the check does not match to 100%.
Pattern made by using Müller and Son draft. Sleeves are made without any system, just by rock of eye technique. Because of the strange form of the armhole after all the pattern adjustmens.
The collar was made by hours of handstitching for matching the stripes. Lining without pockets.

hey ;)
well yes.. I like to “sew” but I have to admit, that I am semi profesional on tailoring. So I earned my money with that… and if you have to sew, the fun disappears! But not for a long time… its my passion ;)
No no… normal Buttonholes…
Thank you again! :)

Thank you!!!
There is a little trick to match the check very easily by cutting. But if you have to make adjustings after cutting, you’ll get into trouble! :)

wow, good job for a first. the inside looks so professional and tailor made. i think it would look really good just as a casual suit jacket. the matching on the lapels is great! i cant wait to see your next one.
