A christmas gift for me – a new bag. This bag took a long time to design, but only a week or two to cut out and sew. This bag has a two-way zippered closure, handles attached with metal D-rings, pockets on the front with magnetic clasps, a zippered pocket on the back and inside there are pockets for 3 pens, a phone, books and papers and one interior zippered pocket. There is also a pocket for a water bottle.
Some of the techniques I used (piping, use of peltex) were adapted from the instructions for Amy Butlers Sophia carry all and Weekender bags.
Exterior: Upholstery fabric. Interior: Quilting fabric. Piping: Ripstop nylon. All from Fabric.com
