A man needs some class

Groningen, Nethe...

I made this vest for christmas last year for my boyfriend. It was actually the first Burdastyle pattern I’ve used, quite an adventure on itself! I am very happy with the result. The instructions were not always clear but with a little help from the Internet I figured out. I used a different method to put in the lining; I put it in the same way you line a sleeveless dress (
The only problem with the vest are the buttonholes, they are a little off.. But luckily my boyfriend doesn’t bother. I also made a matching bowtie from the lining, so this would be perfect for christmas! He’s not so fond of it though.

Material Notes

Grey cotton and polyester lining

Leuk vestje! Probeerde m’n man te overtuigen om er een voor ’m te maken… maar jammer genoeg geen interesse!

Nice work! the pattern can have some alterations in the back and at the arm holes. I like the contrasting linning. greetings from Rotterdam

Dankje :) Het giletje is inderdaad een beetje aan de grote kant, zoals bij de meeste Burdastyle patronen helaas..
