Upcycled from a failure of a jacket I made a few years ago, this is made with a drill cotton that has a brushed side to it. Super sturdy for washing but oh so soft to wear! The pattern is from an Enid Gilchrest Magazine titled ‘Little Coats and Dresses’…..I think, as the cover and first 6 pages have fallen off so I’m not completely sure!
I had to make a few adjustments to fit it into the dis-assembled jacket, including shortening it and taking out the pleats in the front. I’m really happy with it, although the only sad thing is I’ll have to wait at least a year till she fits it!
