I used a store bought A-line skirt that I knew fit me well to trace three panels and sewed them into this wrap skirt that ties at the side. I self-faced the front panels, which brought them in just enough to make the wrap fit. I could still do a little work on hem to make the front panel more even, but I’m really happy with the result.
I’m not sure what the fabric is. I found it at a store that buys up surplus fabrics and sells them by the pound. It’s like a lightweight canvas with no stretch at all and a soft feel on the right side.
