Description

In sewing I am mainly driven and inspired by the beauty of fabrics. This one (“Waltz”), by Nani Iro, collection 2012 I think, is a favourite of mine, very nice colours and lovely pattern (naniiro.jp, nice online store too)

Thus, I made a simple A-linke skirt to emphasize the fabric and not more. Cosy to wear due to the very soft cotton of the fabric. Fits to a lot of tops of different colours.

Pattern: Simple Modern Sewing: 8 Basic Patterns to Create 25 Favorite Garments" by
Shufu-To-Seikatsusha;

Back and front part are very different in the pattern, thus can be worn either with the front or back side in front (does not make a big difference in fitting)

Material Notes

Very cosy double gauze cotton (2 layers stitched at some points together, not visible)

Intermediate
