The 2nd dress I altered the neckline and took out the in-seam pockets. I should have put pockets in. This time I used a silver brocade that frayed and slipped and tried to make me give up sewing. In the end, I won.
To redraft the neckline I traced the pattern piece and put a convex curve from shoulder to mid-yoke. This one I usually wear with black tights and a bright red sweater.
