My mum recently celebrated her 60th birthday. I thought this special occasion should warrant a special hand made house dress so I used a vintage Kwik Sew 873 pattern and two co-ordinating cotton fabrics (the light blue one is Lizzy House and the darker blue is a vintage screenprinted remnant I bought on Etsy last year) to whip up this beauty. I also used a matching vintage invisible zipper from my stash.
I really, really like this pattern (I bought it to make something for mum but I might actually end up making something for myself someday..). I made version A (but I have a pin tuck foot now so version B is a distinct possibility). My mum received it (nearly a month after I sent it) and absolutely loved it, so I’m quite happy about this pattern overall!
