These Ellen pants were really easy to make. I used some khaki cotton my mum found in her stash, but couldn’t remember what she bought it for. So I got new trousers – Hooray!
I shifted the pockets down a bit, because I felt they were too close to the waistband. I used some fun left-over cotton print for the backing of the pocket flaps as a surprise when you open them. The fit is fairly good, although I took them in a bit at the hip and upper thigh (about 5mm on each side). I wear them all the time, the best sign of a good make!

I’m making those pants tonight, I prepared everything last night, I’m ready to sew tonight…can’t wait to see if mine turn out great also. I’m doing a muslin with left over fabric, I hope they will be wearable, if so I’ll go buy a khaki fabric like yours, cause yours look really great!

These pants are absolutely great! Perfect fit and great color. I like the backing of the pockets!
