Based on Burdastyle Poplin Dress 05/2013 #124.
I dropped the pockets, shortened the dress, and replaced the full back with straps.
The bodice is entirely lined and topstitched.
Since the V neck front was way too deep for wearing this dress anywhere besides the beach, I added a ruffled piece of white cotton eyelet supported by a band of white bias at the top to make it more work-compatible.
I had a lot of fitting issues (added bust darts because of the gaping armholes, took in a few cm at the waist and under the arms to get the dress to sit nicely…), and in the end I’m not entirely satisfied with the way the V neck sits on my chest (it kinds of gaps a little, and the straps get a little loose), but I like the dress anyway, because the fabric is so cute and cheering.
White flowery cotton for the dress and facings.
Bit of eyelet and white bias tape.
