Description

I’ve unlocked a monster doing these hair accessories… I know, I know, it’s not sewing… but it’s felt… and felt is a material too right? Right. I dunno know what I was thinking about but then the idea came to me… sparrows for my hair! I love these little birds, so cute and so reversible, one side is grey, as you can see, the other is dark blue(which I didn’t post because it’s impossible to see clearly in a photo what with my dark brown hair.
(Today I’m wearing them all in my hair… XD )

I love this one! Swallows just have a romantic feel about them.

Have you ever tried making your own felt? it has a much nicer texture then commercial felt, and it is a lot of fun to make.

    The sparrows are super cute.

It’s something I’d love to learn how to do… but don’t really have the time or resources at the moment, so I’m just going with the 25 sheets of felt at the craft store. sigh someday

Well if you ever find the time do try. You don’t need to spend a lotof money to get started, basic stuff you need is an old towel, bubble wrap, bamboo mat (i use and old bamboo blind) a piece of net curtaining, old spray bottle with a little soap in it. Most impostant bit is some felt tops,a kettle and elbow grease. Great way to take relieve any aggro you have by beating the felt top into submission.
