Made this skirt today. I really like it although my buttons seem to be bunching… we’ll see if I ever feel like fixing it.
The skirt itself was pretty easy to do, although some of the directions confused me, like attaching the top band while leaving it open to be buttoned, but I just winged it and it all turned out okay.

I need some more office type clothes for my new job and I think this Helena Skirt worn with some thick leggings will be just the thing!
I’ll probably end up making a few.

Material Notes

Some fabric that was gifted to me. Some kind of cotten/polyester blend.

Thank you! I’m pretty happy with how it turned out too.

What’s great is that it was t by looking at your photos while I was making this skirt, that I realized that the size 10 waist band was going to be way too small for me lol. So I hopped into making one larger. So it’s kind of funny that you commented!

_ I love the way your skirt turned out too. I loved the flow of it.
