San Pedro De Mon...
The color of this dress…..I just love it!!! pure passion!!! it is a bright bright red, that looks wonderfull on the owner. Shame I do not have a picture of her wearing it.
This dress is made up in 2 pieces plus the corsage. The corset top, is suppose to look transparent in certain parts, but since the skirt was going to show up, I lined all in skin color silk. To be honest, this is not my design, it is a similar copy of one of the gowns design by Ellie Saab. I made some changes acordingly to the shape of my client and the short time I had to make it. The skirt is not suppose to have lining, but that would ´n be usefull here, so I lined it with skin color silk. Most of the dress is done in silk chiffon, and the feather trims are done in silk organza. The corsage is made up by some -like-bells, that were hand embroidered, the same way than the ribbons on the corset. I will be adding some more indications on my blog: Rainforestcouture so, please come and visit!!
100% silk chiffon, silk organza, silk habotai and silk charmousse for the lining.
