This was the first dress I’ve made unassisted! Having just returned to sewing for the first time since high school I started with this retro mcalls pattern and am super happy with the way it turned out – keeping in mind I ended up making and un-picking the entire thing 3 times over!
I used a beautiful quilting fabric which admittedly, may be a little heavy but i fell I love with the pattern and colour so I used it regardless.
This is the perfect girly tea dress and i just adore the shape and the full full skirt- I already have plans to make it again in red!
