My niece’s wedding was fast approaching and I decided I needed a dress to wear, instead of my usual skirt and sweater. I found this great black on white linen, but there wasn’t enough to make a whole dress. The black with woven design was perfect with it. I made some slight adjustments to the pattern. The neckline was too wide, so I brought it in about two inches on each side. I lined the dress with broadcloth to avoid wearing a slip.
