This is one of the first projects in my attempt to learn how to sew. George is a good friend who happens to be a perfect size 12 in this pattern. How lucky was I to make a dress for her that didn’t need any alterations. In return, George took me out for lunch so she could wear her new dress. I think it suited her perfectly. The pattern is burda 8319, easy. I have an excellent and patient teacher who helped me and also owns the shop where I purchased the fabric http://www.lisasdesignerfabric.com.au/ on the Gold Coast. This site inspires me enormously. I love how people will upload the simplist of creations with as much enthusiasm as the likes of the more advanced and humble sewers in this group, which I am sure we all know who they are. Thank you to everyone for helping me with my new adventure in life.
