North Potomac, M...
I found the pattern for a nice pencil skirt in the Sew Everything Workshop book. It’s a nice simple pattern with two darts on each side and a slit in the back. I made it out of some nice floral fabric I found in my stash and lined it with some old purple satin I had leftover form another project. I also altered the front to have four darts instead of two and shortened the skirt by about 8 inches.
My mom helped me take some good pics of the finished project because she is ten times better with the camera then I am.
