Upcycle worn men’s button down shirts into a light airy play dress. Extremely special for daddy’s girls getting to wear a little bit of daddy’s clothes while getting out of the house. I found the tutorial by chance. My husband wears button down shirts six days out of the week. Any time the collar or cuffs get ruined from regular wear and tear, he stops wearing it and the shirt is not quite good enough to donate.
Any button down shirt will do, but needs to be large enough to provide enough fabric for the dress.
Fabric markers, iron ons, or appliques to make the dress more girl appropriate.
