A coral resconstruction

Berlin, Germany

I have found that I am not using as many second hand fabrics in Germany as much as what I was in Aus, so I decided to reconstruct a simple blouse. I wanted the flounce to be bigger, but unfortunately I ran out of material. I also added some bias in hopes of emphasising the waist a little bit more. The embroidered detailing in the back is what drew me to this garment in the first place and I think that it suites the blouse. I then made a simple black circle skirt to go with the blouse. All in all I think it turned out OK

I love the colour! How did you attach the bias?

Hi,thanks for the comment. I just sewed the flounce on at the bottom, then sewed the bias over the top.

Great reconstruction. The whole outfit goes together quite well.

Your Vineyard pictures scream Australia. The blouse is lovely, colour looks great and summery!
