My sister asked for a simple black circle skirt as a birthday present. Being the detailed person I am I couldn’t just do an elastic band waist on the top and voil! It had to be lined with a proper waistband and hand stitching (I love my sister). Which is why it took me two months to finish it (to be fair I had several other projects due at the same time). It was a wonderful skirt to make. I just made one mistake. As I hand stiched the waistband closed I caught the top layer of fabric and the stitching is visible from the outside. Sigh, i didn’t have the heart to redo it. And I’m hoping my sister won’t notice.
