Burda Style For people who sew

SKIRT:
I am currently a little obsessed with circle skirts. I think it’s all about the fall of the skirt. My grandma told me years ago how to make them and I just can’t seem to stop. I am always on the look out for ‘circle skirt appropriate’ fabric. I found this fabric at the markets. I even went back a week later to get more of it.
JACKET:
We took these photos whilst touring through Spain. Travelling + suitcase = wrinkled clothing. So I do apologise for the wrinkled mess. This jacket is from vintage vogue pattern". I really like this design. The back section is my favourite part of the garment.

Love it all! Great job! I made my first circle skirt last month and somehow I messed up the pattern and it turned out to be a semi-circle skirt! Ha! Love your choice of fabric too! Sam xox

I love the skirt! The fabric is awesome. I love this style of skirt. I have tried to make the circle skirt that is posted here on Burda, but it only proved frustrating doing all the math. I was wondering if your grandma’s way is any easier?
