Definitely a labour of love! I made this men’s dress shirt for my Mr for Christmas, and finished it just in time. The fabric’s a gorgeously soft Italian cotton shirting, and the pattern is McCalls 9351, a shirt pattern from the eighties. The best part? It fits him perfectly and he loves it! Well worth the hours (and days, even) spent fixing the fit and making the shirt. Now he wants another one! What have I done? :)

You’ve created a monster, that’s what you have done!!!
Where is this going to end?
I’ll tell ya, Sewaholic, with your flesh grown about the sewing machine. A curious testament to love.
As for that man of yours, he’ll be in a swanky lounge swilling cocktails, trading stories, while peacocking in one perfectly fitted shirt after another! Those poses he assumes, do they not inform or concern you?
Take my advice, learn welding, and ankle cuff that one to your bed now, right now!
